Alyssa Danigelis is a professional freelance writer and editor.
She received a BS from Mount Holyoke College and an MS from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. As a reporter, she covers science, technology, business, energy, art and design, adventure, and sustainability.
Her experience includes editing GOOD Magazine’s election-related infographics broadsheets in 2008. As the editor-in-chief for Sawhorse Media, she managed an international team to develop pro journalist listings for MuckRack.com and served as the lead scriptwriter for the annual Shorty Awards. She also collaborated on social entrepreneurship initiatives for the nonprofit organizations Future of Fish and Ashoka.
Alyssa’s writing has been featured in publications that include Technology Review, Fast Company, Inc.com, Plenty, Black Enterprise, Natural Health, GOOD.is, the Boulder Daily Camera, Public Utilities Fortnightly, Yahoo, Tom’s Guide, Live Science, Discovery News / Seeker, Energy Manager Today, and Environmental Leader.
